Magic Fountain in Summit

I usually love this place but the last time I went they messed up my order and wouldn’t answer the phone for me to explain my problem... wouldn’t be returning.

There’s a reason why the lines are so long! The ice cream is the best in the state. Cookie dough and birthday cake are my two favorites, but everything on their menu is delicious 😋

Delicious ice cream (handmade hard ice cream and soft serve) but be warned, the lines can get crazy and they only take cash!

I mean C'mon, the name says it all. It's magic f'n ice cream! I'll spare you the details but they get the stuff out of fairy unicorns. Alright!? I'm talking game changing, in your mouth, next level delicious... Between us, I think they kidnapped the keebler elves.

Extra Large Serving Of Delicious Ice Cream

Wonderful ice cream. Many flavor choices, many topping choices. I give 5 stars except parking can be tight and lines can be long. Outdoor seating fills up at busy times. But the ice cream is worth it. Closes in winter.

The ice cream is tasty and the options and flavors are endless. The portion sizes are good and the prices are very reasonable. We usually go there for over cream now.

This place is cash-only, so be sure to bring more than just a credit/debit card. It's also a bit pricey, but it's a nice treat for the kids. It's been the go-to place for prepared ice cream in Summit for at least 35 years!

Great ice cream spot, increadibly popular all times of day (expect longish lines), CASH only. A few tables to sit outside, but on a busy night, need to be creative with parking and finding place to sit and eat.

One of the few places to get true soft serve. But the hard ice cream is great too. Be prepared to stand in line for 40 minutes on a warm summer evening.

Just simply the best! Always open. They have a huge line all the time but we calculate once and they get through 15-20 people in 5 minutes in peak season when all windows are open. Ice cream is soo good, but we love the frozen bananas too!

Great place for human and dog icecream treats! Portions are very large, so pace yourself! Prepare to wait in a long line (usually longer after school hours and weekend). Seating is limited, but if you cross the street you will find some benches around the Tatlock field.

I took my niece and nephew to my favorite ice cream parlor and it did not disappoint . I been going for years and when I walked up I notice a sign stating online order only due to COVID -19. They made a exception and allowed me to order for my family thank you guys so much will be coming back soon this time I’ll order ahead.

A summit staple. Ice cream quality is great. The menu is long and potentially diet ruining. If I had one suggestion it would be to pare down the menu make life easier for everyone.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews saying the line was too long! Before 4 pm there’s nobody in line. Before 6 there might be a couple people but after 6 is when the line starts to get long but it shouldn’t be too bad. The ice cream is really good

Given that 65% of the world is lactose intolerant I think that it would be in your best interest to serve a dairy alternative. It is crazy that you don’t already serve something like this, but now would be a good time to become a trendsetter.

Been going here for 30 years. It's been about 10 since the last time I was here but it was as good as I remember.

Only Accept cash, join line 20minutes 8pm on a June evening to find this out and I am a plastic guy ie; " credit card points hoarder " so no I scream for myself and the lady friend flanking my left arm. Disappointed but their loss.

Better than average ice cream, long but fast lines in the summer

This place is great - the only downside is the line - it can be really lengthy. But the really great thing about this place is that it has not been spoilt by the time - it’s consistently good. Definitely recommend to any ice cream lovers.

Yummy, but hard ice cream was a bit softer than I would have liked.

It was horrible it took an hour to get ice cream and there were only 5 people in front of me. I just ordered my kids ice cream . I didn’t even want to ask for my order of a gelati because I was scared how long it would take to get it . Unbelievable. I only went there because it was noon and 16 handled does not open til 12:30 so it’s 12:57 as I am writing this. So it would have been better just to drive around downtown waiting 16 handles to open cause it would have still been faster!!!!

Great spot in Summit, been here forever. Always a line but it moves pretty fast and they have a huge selection of items. Good to have the wait to decide! Especially like the banana ice cream with Nutella - sugar bomb but super tasty!

This is what happens when you come here. You eat and eat and you can not stop until it is completely gone. It there weren't any people there I would have licked the syrup off the edges of the cup. Lol. Come and enjoy. It was my rescue from waiting in Douglas Volkswagen dealership customer waiting area.

Awesome place for ice cream. Even though the lines may be extensively long on Fridays, the quality of the ice cream is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place. Popular with families and outsiders!

Love this place! Just found it and it’s our go-to icecream place now. Big portions of toppings and it’s all well packed for window pickup. The people are very friendly! I’d say the one downside is the swarm of maskless teens loitering about—but they are easily avoided because we bring it home to eat. Super great, we’ll keep coming back!

Great place for ice cream, but they use styrafoam, which is not only detrimental to your health but also the environment. It's a way for the company to cut costs because it's so cheap. It's time to use paper cups instead of styrafoam.
